Spinal Touch Technique is a bio-mechanical realignment method that was originally developed in the 1930s by chiropractors, John Hurley, DC and Helen Saunders, DC, PhD. Carol Ritchie learned this technique from 80-year-old chiropractor, Dr. Russel E. Osborn, who learned this method from Hurley/Saunders, and used this as his sole treatment modality for his entire clinical life, finally training a handful of pupils in his home-based practice in Victoria B.C. in the late 1990s.
